The Bahrain International Motor Show was founded by Wassim Sami Farhoud in 2007.

Wassim has been interested in business ever since he was a child, and has always been keen to start his own company, preferably involving his biggest passion: Cars.

Upon returning to Bahrain from the U.S. he had the idea of founding an automobile publication that could keep motoring fans updated in the region.

The Gulf Auto Guide was born: A quarterly newsletter catering to automobile enthusiasts in the region.

Wassim then recognized the importance of events both for the industry as well as for fans, and decided to create the first international motor show ever held in Bahrain, aptly naming it the Bahrain International Motor Show, a registered trademark with the Ministry of Industry & Commerce.

The first edition was held in 2007, and it continues to grow with the 4th and most spectacular show being held in 2013.

The increasing support Wassim has received from the industry, and his hard work and dedication along with the commitment of his team have translated into a world-class show that is becoming more significant and internationally renowned each time it is held.

Auto Collection W.L.L. is a registered company under the Ministry of Industry & Commerce.
